Buffalo or Indian Head nickels were minted from 1913 to 1938 by the San Francisco, Philadelphia and Denver U.S. Mints in copper and nickel composition. Designed by James Earle Fraser utilizing three different Native Americans as models. Buffalo nickels have long been a favorite numismatic coin by collectors and now a wildly popular replica piece for silver stackers as well.

The obverse is replicated after the Indian Head or Buffalo Nickel with the motto of "LIBERTY" still in curved around the upper right rim, the Indian remains the same in this replica piece. The reverse is another replica image of the bison/buffalo from the original Buffalo Nickel, the mottos of "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" still remain and the FIVE CENTS dollar value has been replaced with "1 OZ. .999 FINE SILVER" to designate this piece as silver bullion with a 1 Troy Ounce weight of .999 Fine Silver.
