For buyers
Register & verify — Create a free account and confirm your email before you can bid. Check spam if the message is delayed. From: CDX Auction.
Bidding — Enter at least the minimum next bid. Auctions may extend if bids arrive in the last two minutes (anti-snipe). Bids are generally binding.
Winning & paying — Open Payments or the win email link. You pay the seller using methods they offer (card via Authorize.Net or CARDZ3N, PayPal, Zelle, wire, etc.).
Account tools — My bids, wins, watchlist, favorite sellers, activity, feedback, and settings (shipping + notifications).
Seller stores — Each dealer has a public store with profile, feedback score, live auctions, and Buy Now lots. Start at Sellers or open the seller name on any lot.
Favorite alerts — Favorite a seller from their store or a lot page. With notifications on (Settings), you get an email when they list a new lot.
For sellers (SpotPro members)
Listing is available to authorized SpotPro accounts (beta allowlist). List from Inventory or Store Listings → Auction. Manage lots in SpotPro → Ecommerce → CDX Auction.
Your public store — Buyers see your company name, logo, about text, location (if displayed), feedback score, live auctions, and Buy Now lots at cdxauction.com/store/your-slug (from your SpotPro dealer site slug) or by subscription id.
Bid alerts — You receive an email when a new bid lands on your live lot (amount, bid count, lot link).
How buyers pay you — Controlled by your Company Profile payment setup (same as ExtraCoins). Not platform Stripe for coin settlements.
Fees & payments
During beta: $0 list / $0 sell for SpotPro sellers. Buyer registration is free. Payment processor fees (Auth.net, CARDZ3N, PayPal, banks) are between you and your processor.
Safety tips
- Only bid if you intend to pay if you win
- Verify shipping address in Settings before high-value wins
- Sellers: confirm offline payments before shipping
- Never send card numbers over email or chat
