Simple rates for coin shops

Seller pricing — keep more of every sale

Lots close on a timer, value labels update automatically, and shops get clear summaries — so we can price under eBay and Whatnot without a huge support floor. Money for the coin always goes to the selling shop. Any CDX selling fee is billed separately — we do not hold the buyer’s coin payment.

Example sold price

Enter a sample sale price. The plan cards show the CDX fee on that one sale (any monthly plan fee is listed separately on each card).

Cards show plan rates (and monthly if any). The gold box is only the fee on your example $500 sale — not the subscription. Self-serve plans: SpotPro ($0 software perk), Free, and Pro. Franchise is invitation / sales only — not an open signup for every shop.

Read the gold boxes — lower % is not always cheaper. On this $500 example: Free ≈ $29.50/lot, Pro ≈ $14.50/lot (+ $24.99/mo auto-renew), Franchise sample ≈ $9.50/lot (illustrative only; franchise is not self-serve).

These are example comparisons — not legal quotes. Your own card or PayPal fees still apply when buyers pay you. CDX does not hold the money for the coin.

How shops are billed

  1. Fee when it sells — if your plan charges a percent of the sold price, that fee is recorded when the lot closes sold.
  2. Prepaid fee credit — add money ahead of time for CDX selling fees; sales use that balance first.
  3. If credit runs short — unpaid fees can sit, and new listings may pause if unpaid gets too high.
  4. Free ↔ Pro anytime — upgrade or switch to Free from Account → Selling fees (self-serve; no approval).
  5. SpotPro shops stay $0 — SpotPro software dealers do not pay CDX list or sell fees.
